Hip Dip Filler Before & After Results
What Real Filler Results Look Like
Dermal fillers for hip dips produce gradual results. Unlike surgery where there is an immediate change (plus swelling), filler results develop over weeks. Understanding the timeline prevents disappointment at the 1-week mark when the area looks under-filled.
Sculptra Timeline
- Day 1-3: Area looks over-filled — this is swelling, not the result.
- Week 1: Swelling resolves. Area may look under-filled — this is correct.
- Week 4: Collagen begins developing. First subtle volume emerges.
- Week 12: Full result. Collagen is now your own tissue. Smooth contour visible.
- Year 2-3: Gradual fade. Volume decreases as collagen turns over. Touch-up needed.
HA Filler Timeline
- Day 1: Immediate volume visible plus swelling.
- Week 1: Swelling resolves. Final volume settles.
- Months 6-18: Gradual absorption. Touch-up needed.
Real Before & After Evaluation
When evaluating filler before-and-after photos, use the P-L-C standard: same Pose, same Lighting, same Clothing. Photos that differ in any of these cannot be honestly evaluated as a transformation.
